New South Rugby Union would like to extend our warmest thank you for your support of our Coaches education programme. It was clear through the Coaches evaluations that your presentation was greatly appreciated and strongly enjoyed. Shannon Fraser, NSW Rugby Union Coach Education.
On behalf of the Organising Committee of the Australian Tennis Conference, I just wanted to say thank you for your great presentation at the ATC. You were a real hit with everyone and they loved your reaction activities and most importantly everyone had so much fun. Dr Ann Quinn.
The way Anthony goes about his reaction training makes training very enjoyable. His heart is set on bringing out the best with every individual he spends time with. Peter Tramacchi, Junior Davis Cup Tennis Coach.
Fantastic Training. Amy Taylor Socceroos.
" Anthony Kelly’s commitment to teaching others how to improve their reaction speed, and his personal skills and abilities in this area, second to none. Anthony was one of the keynote speakers at three Coaching Excellence conferences for sports coaches, which I organised this year, and I have to say that the feedback from ALL the delegates who attended his sessions was uniformly positive and praiseworthy. Not only did delegates comment on the superb range of practical skills and techniques, which they learned, but they also were impressed with Anthony's own coaching and teaching style and his obvious mastery of what he taught”. As the organiser of the conferences, I also have to praise Anthony, he has the ability to engage interest immediately with his enthusiasm and joyful presentation style. He also not only maintained participants interest over the entire three hours of his presentations, but actually energised everyone with his wide variety of practical activities so that at the conclusion of the conferences all delegates were full of renewed vigour for their own coaching. Jeffrey Hodges Director, Sportsmind Institute.
The National Rugby Camp (NRC) supports and recognises Anthony Kelly for his efforts in Reaction Training. Anthony has helped with NRC for the past three years and all of the campers and Coaches found his training methods beneficial and enjoyable. Paul Schmude. Director of NRC.
As coaching coordinator of Group 18 under 13/14’s Rugby League, I would like to thank Anthony for attending our camp, his input was invaluable and his attitude enlightening. Wayne Cullen.
Anthony, thank you very much for attending the Kincoppal-Rose Bay School Tennis camp. The ‘Reaction time’ skills you taught the girls were invaluable to their skill development. Giving the students an awareness of how important reaction time and movement are in the game in tennis can only help their game. I personally appreciate the support you gave to Kincopple-Rose Bay School and the students were very impressed by activities conducted and enthusiasm you brought to the camp. Tara Harridge, Head of PDHPE & Sport.
Anthony has taught sport at Duval High School for over 16 years. He has been a highly effective teacher of Sport, having a tremendous rapport with students of both sexes, providing an exciting teaching programme. Anthony’s ability to enthuse the students makes his sport one of the more popular. Allan Dasey, Sports Organiser.
I thought my reaction was good, before I trained with Anthony. Nikki Hudson. Hockeyroos.
Anthony Kelly has been training groups of students during Sport sessions at Armidale High School for almost 20 years. The popularity of these reaction training classes for students with a wide range of physical abilities has been maintained because of Anthony’s professional attitude, and enthusiasm. Students always leave the classes feeling good about themselves, and the improvement in their skills is amazing. Anthony has developed an outstanding teaching programme, and uses innovative strategies to motivate the students. Gaylia Bigg, Teacher, Armidale High School.
Anthony Kelly presented a motivating and energetic display of
Reaction Training to the Peninsula Region Physical Education
Teachers Conference in Cairns, July 2006. Through a fast paced and
exciting program, Anthony kept the 76 PE teachers, engaged and
active whilst demonstrating how inclusive teaching can develop
aspects of speed and reaction training. As a motivating speaker, he
had the audience enthralled with a DVD presentation and personal
demonstrations; his anecdotes were interesting and appropriate to
the needs of our group. After the session, the teachers were buzzing
with energy and Anthony endured a barrage of questions in relation
to the skills and activities displayed. Through the inclusion of
Reaction Training into school Physical Education programs teachers
were shown how students would develop skills and abilities that
would improve their physical performance and ultimately sporting
results.
Anthony Kelly was invited to attend our annual Group 18 under 15/16 Rugby League camp. The sessions were thoroughly enjoyed by all the players and coaching staff. Both teams have continued to improve their reaction time and focus, skills that we hadn’t previously prepared with. Anthony has provided our players and coaches with the edge over our competition. We will be inviting The Arrow Catcher back to assist us with next years’ preparation. As the boys say “he is a living Champion”. Tod Martin.
If a player can move faster, they will have a better chance of winning. Anthony can give the edge. John Newcombe |
